At one time thousands of sod houses dotted the plains region of North America. The sod house pictured in this video was built by Marshal McCully in 1894 and is located at Aline, Oklahoma. The soddy is the only one still standing in Oklahoma that was built by a homesteader.Watch the video (click below):
