Located on the eastern edge of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Mount Scott is one of Oklahoma's most prominent mountains. A 3.5 mile paved road leads to the summit and a breathtaking view of southwest Oklahoma. The peak towers 2,465 feet above sea level. Bring your camera!
Location
From Oklahoma City, take I-44 south to Medicine Park/Hwy 49 exit and follow signs to the Wichita Mtn. Wildlife refuge. Immediatedly after you enter the refuge, you will see a small lake and parking lot with bathrooms on the left side of the road. Park here. The trail starts on the other side of the road approximately 1/4 mile north of the partking lot. The trail has a gate that has a sign that says "do not block gate".
