W.C. Austin

Whose Life was completely

dedicated to the service of his God,

His Country, His Community and His

Fellow Man. Who never turned away

from a call for his helping hand.

Who asked as his reward for

accomplishment only another chance

to serve. Loved and respected by all

who had the privilege of knowing

him, the citizens of Oklahoma united

in dedicating to him this monument

and the irrigation works comprising

the project which now so rightly

bears his name.
